Margaret C. King

Margaret C. King is an expedition filmmaker with over 20 years of experience in film and a decade working in some of the world's most remote terrain. She came to expedition work as a filmmaker first — trained in narrative production, with deep roots in craft — and brings that foundation into environments where most crews never go.

She works as a DP and editor. Her work has taken her to remote indigenous communities in the Philippines, the Tian Shan mountains of China, the Gobi Desert, the Cordillera Blanca of Peru, and the mountains of Mongolia and India. Credits include National Geographic, Clif Bar, Dell, and Goal Zero.

She is drawn to stories in landscapes that are hard to reach and the human stories found there. She is based in Colorado.
